Job Posting: Sr. NetSuite Implementation Consultant
Summary/Objective:
The NetSuite Implementation Consultant has a broad understanding of global enterprise solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes and technology designs across multiple product/technology families. As an implementation consultant, this role will include working on NetSuite related projects including new implementations, enhancements, integration, and support of ongoing clients.

Essential Functions:
NetSuite Enterprise Solutions:
- Client business requirements gathering through meetings and workshops
- Strong understanding of overall NetSuite processes and best practices
- Analyzes, presents and demonstrates solutions to prospects and clients
- Builds and maintains up-to-date industry and product knowledge
- Assesses project risks and suggests risk mitigation to project manager
- Resolves complex client issues by recommending solutions
- Engages in deep-dive discussions around design and architecture to solve client problems while maintaining a pulse on industry trends
- Works closely with sales leaders and cross functional teams to understand client needs and desires
- Works with Marketing Team to develop and present relevant webinars
- Develops, enhances, and maintains GSI NetSuite implementation pricing strategy
- Create and deliver presentations on technical concepts, project work plans, delivery approach, milestones, and results to client stakeholders.
- Educate internal and external audiences on NetSuite best practices.
- Identify, design and implement creative business solutions to continually improve the firm's methodology and approach.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
General Organization Functions:
- Contributes to GSI's focus on quality assurance, skills and competency certifications, global methods development and standardization through participation in internal cross-organizational initiatives
- Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.
- Performs the role of Solution Consultant during pre-sales engagements to demo NetSuite and assist prospective client’s evaluation of NetSuite
- Maintains up to date Skills Matrix and Certifications relevant to the position
- Handles day-to-day administrative tasks such as: vacation scheduling, expense reports, time entry, etc.
- Documents solutions and contribute to internal knowledge share
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Competencies:
- Accounting functional background (CPA or Operational)
- Manage change control on projects and contracts
- Work closely with development team on integrations and scripting
- Performs segmentation with subsidiaries, departments, classes, and locations
- Develops Chart of Accounts architecture
- Financial Report Customization for internal and external purposes
- Advanced Revenue Recognition
- Advanced Inventory and setup of multiple locations and warehouses, both internal and 3PL operations
Skills/Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years of consulting experience.
- Prior consulting experience in NetSuite software.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families, multiple industries, and ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.
- Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of competitive and partner products, technology and solutions.
- Solid understanding of Business and IT strategy and enterprise customer approach to broad architectural challenges and opportunities.
- The ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important.
- Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive beta programs, and help customers to solve problems using cloud.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Working Conditions:
Position is fast-paced and subject to rapidly changing priorities, multiple deadlines and some stressful customer interactions.
Driving Requirements:
Position requires travel to other company locations. Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of insurance.
Travel:
This position requires some travel, up to 30% on average. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight.
