Cathy Gallagher is a seasoned business development and consulting management professional with nearly 20 years of experience working with JD Edwards. Cathy also has over 30 years experience in the Life Sciences Industry vertical.
Ms. Gallagher joined GSI, Inc. in June of 2012. In her role as Vice President, Client Success, she oversees GSI's presales engineering resources.
Previously, she was Director of Customer Services in the Life Sciences Industry vertical for Oracle and served in several other roles at J.D. Edwards and PeopleSoft that were focused on supporting very large enterprise clients in consulting management and support. Before joining the greater Oracle/JD Edwards/PeopleSoft community, Ms. Gallagher worked at a Life Sciences manufacturing company, Wholesale Foodservice distribution company, brokerage firms, as well as other consulting firms. Ms. Gallagher studied Computer Science and Business at Penn State University.
She is the recipient of several business awards including an award for Outstanding Client Services during her tenure at Oracle. Ms. Gallagher has five children and 3 grandchildren and is located in Philadelphia, PA. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, theater, and relaxing anywhere with a view of water.
William Cashman is a veteran business development and consulting management professional with nearly 20 years of experience working with JD Edwards and other ERP software applications.
Mr. Cashman joined GSI, Inc. in August 2013 as part of the company's acquisition of the Andrews Consulting practice and RapidReconciler® software from Andrews Consulting Group. In his new role as Vice President of Products and Services, he oversees GSI's field consulting services, RapidReconciler software team and custom software development groups.
An eight year veteran of Andrews Group, Mr. Cashman served as a senior vice president and was responsible for the 400 percent growth of its successful JD Edwards consulting practice. Previously, he was business development manager for Oracle and served in several other roles at JD Edwards in the accounting and consulting management capacities before it was acquired by PeopleSoft, Inc. and later acquired by Oracle. Before joining the greater Oracle/JD Edwards/PeopleSoft community, Mr. Cashman worked at Ernst & Young as a senior accountant and earned his CPA.
Mr. Cashman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting from Pace University, Pleasantville, N.Y., where he graduated magna cum laude.
He is the recipient of several business awards including during his tenure with Oracle the Quarterly Outstanding Contributor Award, J.D. Edwards Leadership Program, 100% Utilization Club, and Quarterly Area Operations Awards.
Mr. Cashman currently resides in Orange County, New York with his wife Lynn and three children. In his free time, he enjoys bowling, golf, fishing and relaxing on the river.
Shawn Scanlon, with more than 16 years of experience, is a senior systems implementation engineer with significant JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne systems expertise. He is responsible for consulting and managed services and works out of the Detroit office. Mr. Scanlon also serves as the public face of the company, conducting presentations at major industry forums, including Quest and Oracle's Open World, and hosting sales and technical webinars on a wide variety of JDE topics.
In 2008, Mr. Scanlon, then president of Enterprise Solutions Providers, merged his JDE services company into GSI. The merger provided GSI with a Midwest footprint and the largest team of Configurable Networking Computing specialists in the nation. Previously, Mr. Scanlon was a field consultant for JDE as well as a network administrator focused on managed services customers for Holland Systems Corporation.
He has managed full project life cycles for major corporations including Project Worldwide (formerly George P. Johnson). Industries that have benefited from his expertise include manufacturing and automotive, government, energy and healthcare.
Mr. Scanlon holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University and is certified in JDE EnterpriseOne Technology. He lives in Michigan with his wife Alyson and their two daughters.The Scanlons are active participants with Kensington Community Church. They are very active in supporting local and national charities including the Michigan Humane Society and Leader Dogs for the Blind. In his spare time, Mr. Scanlon enjoys reading, investing, home improvement and spending time with his family.
David Telford is a 25-year IT veteran with experience in nearly every aspect of information technology.
He joined GSI in May 2007 and was part of the team architecting the firm’s merger with Enterprise Solutions Providers in 2008. Today Mr. Telford leads the team responsible for the development of GSI's software products including Rapid Reconciler and GENIUS monitoring, as well as client-specific custom web development.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Telford developed QA/QC software for the plastics industry, OSHA compliance systems for the chemical engineering industry and was directly involved in IT management in the banking and accounting industries. Mr. Telford spent 10 years with JD Edwards through the PeopleSoft and Oracle acquisitions where he led the CNC consulting organization for the Midwest area, helped develop the corporate methodology for implementation of OneWorld and EnterpriseOne, and spent a year and a half in Critical Accounts working to help customers of all sizes and diversities realize the value of their JDE investment.
Mr. Telford holds a BS Degree in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell. He resides in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. He and his wife have four children and five grandchildren.
In his spare time, Mr. Telford enjoys cooking, playing golf and many other sports, and is an avid Scrabble player. He is also a writer; his first novel, Minstrel of a Modern Time, is a book about life’s travels and interactions with the people one meets.
John Bassett is a seasoned IT specialist with more than 25 years of experience as a software engineer, network manager, systems implementer and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technology expert.
He is responsible for conducting architectural requirement analyses for clients including load balancing, SSL, high availability and disaster recovery. He is based in the company's Mansfield, Ohio office.
Mr. Bassett is part of the management team that joined GSI in 2008 through its merger with Enterprise Solutions Providers, a company he co-founded in 2004. Enterprise Solutions Providers was a prominent, Midwest-based JDE services company.
Mr. Bassett has managed the technical project life cycle for many companies including Target, United Technologies Power, La-Z-Boy and Nebraska Furniture Mart and has experience in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, real estate, energy, food & drug and retail.
He holds a BS in Information Systems from The Ohio State University and is certified in JDE EnterpriseOne Technology and IBM DB2/UDB.
Mr. Bassett lives in Mansfield with his wife, Lori. The Bassetts have three grown children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Mr. Bassett is a private pilot, a ham radio operator and a member of the Masons.
Kevin Herrig is a principal technology specialist with more than 25 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, network engineering and enterprise systems architecture.
He founded GSI in 2004 in order to leverage his broad implementation experience and strong background in Configurable Network Computing (CNC) design in the JD Edwards (JDE) OneWorld / EnterpriseOne Application.
In 2003, Mr. Herrig served as a consulting services manager for JDE in the Atlantic Region where he was responsible for selling consulting services and managing a team of technology specialists. He remained with the firm when PeopleSoft acquired JDE in September of that year. As a program manager at PeopleSoft, Mr. Herrig led a team of technology specialists on the design and implementation of one of the largest and most sophisticated JDE systems in the world.
Previously, Mr. Herrig worked for a JDE business partner and became the first person to join the JDE Competency Center in the newly formed Genesis Channel ($30MM - $150MM). He managed a team that provided support for implementation and configuration of JDE technologies, platforms and databases for the entire channel.
Early in his career, Mr. Herrig was with a defense contractor developing code for simulation systems that were used to optimize advanced warfare technologies used in the first Gulf War.
Mr. Herrig holds a BS degree in Information and Computer Science from Georgia Tech. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and daughter. The Herrigs are very active in supporting local and national charities as well as many community outreach programs, and Mr. Herrig keeps fit through strength training, tennis, golf and basketball.
